AMC Renews ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ for Season 3

AMC announced that Fear the Walking Dead will be getting a third season, according to Variety. The third season will consist of 16 episodes and will air in 2017. AMC also renewed the Fear the Walking Dead aftershow, Talking Dead: Fear, hosted by Chris Hardwick. Fear the Walking Dead, which is set in Los Angeles, just started its sophomore season earlier this month following the The Walking Dead season finale. The series takes viewers back to the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, exploring the breakdown of society as the undead become more and more prevalent. Fear the Walking Dead stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam-Carey and is executive produced by Robert Kirkman, Gale Ann Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert, the same crew behind The Walking Dead. Fear the Walking Dead continues on AMC Sunday nights at 9/8c.
