Assassin’s Creed Revelations Delayed for PC

At this point, it is simply expected for Ubisoft to delay the PC versions of their multiplatform games, and this next piece of news does not break that trend. The PC versions of Assassin's Creed: BrotherhoodTom Clancy's HAWX 2, Driver: San Francisco, and Call of Juarez: The Cartel have all trailed far behind their console counterparts, and Ubisoft is following the same route with  Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
According to Eurogamer, Ubisoft's official Czech Facebook page was updated with the news that the PC version of Assassin's Creed: Revelations would be released on December 2nd, 2011, a couple of weeks after the console versions' November 15th release date. This Facebook update has long since been pulled, and any links provided by Eurogamer lead the user to a "content unavailable" notice.

Ubisoft's Czech community isn't the only group which knows of a PC-exclusive delay, as Gamestop has listed the release dates for the retail and digital copies of Assassin's Creed: Revelations for the PC as November 29th, two weeks after the console launch.

On its own, this news isn't especially bad. It just has the misfortune to be coupled with Ubisoft's other PC misgivings. Hopefully, Revelations will be a break from the poor PC versions of Assassin's Creed. We will be sure to post more news on this franchise sequel as it comes.
