This comes as truly great news to me and hopefully to anyone else that missed out on MVC3. Much like Street Fighter 4 before it, MVC3 is to get an upgrade and a re-release because Capcom just can’t stand the thought of only releasing a game once, or even twice in some cases. Anyway, Ultimate MVC3 will come with, count them, 12 new fighters for you to enjoy. That’s a pretty big increase to the roster and it just gets better when you find out who those fighters are going to be.
Ultimate MVC3 will be a retail-only release, which is easy to understand considering how much more content you are going to be getting this time around. The addition of 12 fighters is a huge amount to add to a game that already has a big roster and there are certainly some iconic characters contained in the bunch. If you did miss out on MVC3 before and want an excuse to pick it up, you’re not going to find a better one than this.
