Comic-Con: Highlights from Naughty Dog’s ‘The Last of Us’ Panel

Last Friday at Comic-Con, developer Naughty Dog held a panel for their upcoming title The Last of Us, a post-apocalyptic third-person survival action-adventure game (what a mouthful). Eric Monacelli, Naughty Dog’s Community Strategist, provided readers of Playstation’s blog with a video showcasing parts of the panel:

Adam Sessler (formerly of G4’s X-Play) helmed the panel including The Last of Us’s Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Director Bruce Straley. Bruce Staley explains how the team came up with infection that plages the world in The Last of Us, an idea spawned from watching an episode of BBC's Planet Earth where an ant infected with a dangerous parasitic fungus (a "zombie" ant) kills and spreads to ants.

The Last of Us will be a Playstation exclusive with a release date pending, at the present time.
