Turn off the Lights

ComicBin’s Preview Weekend

ComicBin's creator Jason Goldsmith previously talked to us about his service. A digital comic reader's dream, ComicBin supplies subscribers (for $8.99 a month) with hundreds of digital comic books which are available on iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, Windows Phone, and Windows 8 or any modern web browser and no downloads are required. They used to offer two week free trials but instead they now let you create a free account which you can use to preview the comics they offer and even allow you to read a few of them. But, for a limited time, you can experience their services first-hand for three days free of charge. ComicBin In celebration of Free Comic Book Day (and the release of Iron Man 3), from Friday, May 3rd, 2013, through Sunday, May 5th, 2013, ComcBin will be offering a free preview of its services. This three day event means registered users will have 700 digital comic books at their disposal. Readers will be able to enjoy comics published by Top Cow (Artifacts, Witchblade), Arcana Studios (I highly recommend checking out Corrective Measures) and Bluewater Productions (Vincent Price Presents, Fame). If you want to participate in the event, simply register for free at ComicBin (http://comicbin.net) and then login anytime during Friday, May 3rd, 2013, to Sunday, May 5th, 2013. At the end of the free trial subscribers will be asked if they are interested in subscribing for $8.99 per month or they can keep their account for free and simply read a limited selection of ComicBin's digital comics. Either way, it sounds like a win for me this Free Comic Book Day and a clever advertisement of their services. ComicBin Webpage
