Coming from the Studio led by Tim Schafer, who was behind many of the classic PC point and click adventures like Day of the Tentacle, it should come as no surprise that Costume Quest has a unique setting. The story follows a group of friends who get dressed up and go door-to-door collecting things from the houses they visit at Halloween. The player and the other characters then transform into versions of their costumes in Combat Mode. There are a number of neighborhoods to explore where the player will complete quests and discover hidden areas during a long nights trick-or-treating.
