The CW Releases iZombie Season Two Trailer

The CW's hit comic book-inspired series iZombie returns next month with all-new episodes just in time for Halloween season. The fan-favorite show stars Rose McIver as Olivia "Liv" Moore, the title character who works as a coroner's assistant and has to eat brains to retain her humanity. The show is loosely based on the comic book series of the same name by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred. Show co-creators Diane Ruggiero and Rob Thomas, of Veronica Mars fame, have made iZombie a fun and clever twist on television's time-tested procedural crime drama. Liv is TV's most likable and non-threatening zombie who is able to use her unique predicament to help the police solve crimes. After consuming murder victims' brains, Liv can see their memories. But she also takes on the deceased's personality traits as a side effect. In the new trailer, season one's main villain Blaine (played by David Anders) makes a threatening appearance, and Liv sports new personality quirks and a new hair style. But Liv's ex-fiancé Major (played by Robert Buckley) is nowhere to be found in the season two trailer. Fans will have to wait and see if the Liv and Major "ship" will float on the new episodes. The second season begins Tuesday, October 6, on The CW. [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-2-7uRvMyM[/embed]
