‘Dracula Untold’ Trailer Hits the Web

Dracula has been in many movies from 1931's Dracula to Blade Trinity and he has been seen in many forms. Now he is set to reappear on the screen in a prequel for Universal. The trailer was linked earlier this week but was pulled from Youtube. Universal has now had an officially released the trailer for the horror-action movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSUCMGJXHtY#t=148 Luke Evans (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) will play Vlad III Tepes, a lord who is demanded to play homage to Sultan Mehmed II (Dominic Cooper, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter) by giving him an army of boys, including Vlad's own son and is forced on a mission of vengeance against the ruler. The early half of the trailer does seem to share some similarities to the prologue in Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 movie Bram Stoker's Dracula. Gary Shore is directing, making his directional debut, but he was linked to The Wolverine. He made a concept film called Wolverine vs. The Hand which you can view here. If all else fails Dracula Untold certainly looks impressive, having great looking special effects, big battle sequences and excellent costumes. Dracula Untold also stars Sarah Gadon (Antiviral), Charles Dance and Samantha Barks (Les Misérables). Dracula Untold will hit theaters on October, 3 in the UK and October, 17 in the USA.
