AMC has released a new promo and images for the much-anticipated season seven of The Walking Dead.
Season seven will also include more of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), and confirmation as to who met the business end of Negan's bat Lucille in the sixth season finale. While the teaser trailer doesn't tip its hand regarding the major death in store in next month's season premiere, it does introduce fans to one of the show's new major characters.
Earlier this year AMC teased the arrival of a new character, King Ezekiel, and this latest teaser gives fans a first look at this new addition, played by Khary Payton. He is seen in the promo seated next to his tiger, which is how the character is often pictured in the show's comic source material.
Check out the new promo below and mark your calendar for the season seven premiere on Oct. 23 on AMC. This season will again be followed by The Talking Dead hosted by Chris Hardwick.
