Flash-Supergirl Crossover a Go

"Barry to visit National City"

After months of hints and rumors, the CW announced today that Barry Allen will be making a trip from Central City to National City to visit Supergirl (CW is under the awning of CBS Television, and both shows are produced by Greg Berlanti and Warner Bros. Television, making this crossover much easier than it could otherwise be).

No word yet on the reason behind Barry’s visit (it certainly can’t hurt to have Kara meet someone else with serious superpowers who has managed to get them relatively under control while still having a life), but the crossover will air March 28 on CBS. Perhaps, considering Grant Gustin (Barry) and Melissa Benoist (Kara Danvers) strong singing abilities (not to mention the excellent voices of various other Supergirl stars) the gang might be forced into a musical episode? Ah, well, a girl can dream, right?

If Barry meets J’onn J’onzz then he will have met 4 other Justice League members (5 if you count Hawkgirl, although Hawkman was killed in Legends of Tomorrow) There is really no reason why they can’t do some kind of Justice League on TV soon.
