Frampton’s Oddly Normal Gets Praised

Otis Frampton’s Oddly Normal hits stores this March, and there is already a ton of buzz about the first volume. Frampton has been a bit of a rising star, and some of these quotes really help to give him that push over the fence. Of course, not all too odd given what appears to be another addition to the beloved children’s comic canon.

“It’s fun, charming and worth saving a space on your shelf for it!”, raves Katie Cook (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic). “A charming and relatable fish-out-of-water tale.” continues Hope Larson (A Wrinkle in Time: The Graphic Novel). Those two names right there would be enough to showcase the likely entertainment value of this series.

Those two probably know their stuff like groundhog knows the weather. But if that wasn’t enough, there comes this glowing review by Marvel’s own Oz scribe Skottie Young: “Otis is tapping into that classic thing we all loved about stories growing up… Imagination.” Oddly Normal: Book One will be available in comic stores March 11th and in bookstores on the 24th, with a special price at $9.99.
