Gone Home Coming To Consoles in 2014

Gone Home, the popular PC Game from 2013 is coming to consoles sometime this year. It was previously exclusive to PC and was very well received by critics, winning countless awards. No word on what consoles it will arrive on yet but the developer, The Fullbright Company, have spoke about porting the game to different systems.
Steve Gaynor, writer of Gone Home has said, "We designed Gone Home from the beginning to be a couch experience. There are Trophies and there [are] Achievements, but there’s also new features with the new consoles. The PS4 is all about sharing, for instance." PS4 seems likely for release after being mentioned as one of the consoles they would like to work on.

They also talked about developing their next game that won't be a sequel to Gone Home but similar in tone. Gaynor added, “We’re currently doing very early days on what our next game is. I can say it won’t be Gone Home 2, but I can also say it’ll be us continuing to explore the kind of interactive experiences we started with Gone Home. And then seeing what our next step is, so we don’t repeat ourselves.”
It is nice to see this game will be available on more platforms so more gamers will be able to experience this unique title. More information on this console port should be available in the coming months.
