Halo: Spartan Strike Announced for PC & Windows Tablets

343 Industries have announced Halo: Spartan Strike, a new game in the same top-down combat vein as last year's Halo: Spartan Assault. This time the story has you controlling a Spartan IV within a virtual training simulation that recreates the events of New Mombasa that occurred during Halo 2. It will apparently have improved touch controls and graphics as well as a bunch of other lil' features you can read about over here.
Halo: Spartan Strike will arrive December 12th 2014 on PC as well as various Windows tablets. Presumably, like it's predecessor, it will also make it's way to Xbox One and Xbox 360 at some point too.
