Turn off the Lights

Image Expo Back in January

Image Expo is back! Following last year’s success, the San Francisco based media event is returning, and with a great lineup of guests.  It will once again be held in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on January 9, 2014.  The daylong event will be open to all ticket holders, media members, and comic book retailers.

In addition to a handful of unknown surprise guests, those in confirmed attendance are: The Walking Dead creator and Image Comics partner, Robert Kirkman, Sex Criminals and Satellite Sam writer, Matt Fraction, Black Science and Deadly Class writer, Rick Remender, Pretty Deadly writer, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Prophet and Multiple Warheads writer, Brandon Graham, and Beast creator Marian Churchland.

Among those guests are a handful of Eisner Award winners, representatives of the continuously growing success of Image Comics.  Undoubtedly, this event will showcase what Image has in store for 2014, which is greatly anticipated due, in part, to the huge year they’re coming off of.

General Admission tickets are a mere $20; Premium tickets are running for $50, and they include preferred seating and exclusive releases from Image Comics.  Considering seating is limited, the premium tickets aren’t such a bad deal.

Image Expo is an affordable opportunity to meet your favorite creators, attend panels, and cop exclusive merchandise.  For updates and ticket information, visit: imagecomics.com/expo
