Infinity Ward Exodus Continues

Key Infinity Ward members continue to leave the studio, most likely to join Jason West and Vince Zampella at Respawn Entertainment, a new independent developer partnered with Electronic Arts. West and Zampella have been saying they're working on a new project. This puts the body count at an unofficial 13, but Activision says it's far from worried. Thomas Tippl, the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Activision stated that "the change of guard will provide an opportunity for some of the rising stars to put their own stamp on the Call of Duty franchise," He also claimed that "We treat our developers extremely well," At this point Activision/West and Zampella are done hurling mud at each other, so it seems Activision is trying to clean up their own image, for now. Right now the Respawn Entertainment internet page is a link to a job application email, so West and Zampella are still gathering up employees.
