NetherRealm Studios has given their new DC Comics fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us, the release date of April 16, 2013. With this release date in motion, NetherRealm announced that a "Battle Edition" of the game will be in limited supply at retail stores on the pre-mentioned date. The Battle Edition will run you $149.99 and includes the game disc, an exclusive Injustice arcade fighting stick that features artwork from the game, and three exclusive skins from the New 52 for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, respectfully.

Alongside the "Battle Edition" is the "Collector's Edition" that will be sold seperately. The collector's edition will run you $99.99 across various retailers in North America and will include, exclusive DC collectibles statue featuring iconic characters Batman and Wonder Woman, "The Fortress of Solitude", and "The Last Son of Krypton" escape ship, special collector's edition of the Injustice: Gods Among Us comic book, the digital download of DC Universe animated film Justice League: Doom, and lastly 3 exclusive skins for Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. 
It feels good to be a comic book geek these days. The movies based on comic book properties are becoming successful even with general audiences (Really successful if you count The Avengers) and are becoming full fledged film franchises with continuity to spare.
