Internet Explorer Announced for the Xbox 360

Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is currently dominating other consoles when it comes to home entertainment. It was revealed last month that 50% of Live users currently spend more time making use of the online entertainment services than playing online multiplayer games. During E3’s Microsoft conference, it was revealed that Internet Explorer will be coming to the Xbox 360. This service isn’t just limited to the Xbox either, players will be able use their Windows Phone, iOS and Android devices to navigate through their favourite websites. The Kinect will also make things easier with the use of voice commands. Whilst Microsoft’s conference may not have offered much in new titles, it’s certainly shown that it’s ready to be the future of home entertainment.
