Jennifer Lawrence Gets Her Own Interactive Comic

Fame: Jennifer Lawrence was released in January of 2014 and is about the famous Academy award-winning actress. This biography also marks the first time Bluewater Productions gets an animated and interactive comic book.   This issue of Fame will cover Lawrence’s career and include information about her roles in X-Men, Hunger Games, Silver Lining’s Playbook (which she won an Oscar for best actress) and American Hustle (the performance of which got her nominated for an Oscar). It will be written by Michael Troy (Fame: One Direction) and drawn by Ben Eargle. Fame: Jennifer Lawrence CoverAccording to Michael Troy "Jennifer Lawrence is a true inspiration as a talented actress and a down to earth young woman with amazing wit. I was happy to tell her tale."   Ben Eargle adds his own two cents about the project "It was a lot of fun working on the book just because Jennifer is such an interesting person. All the different actors and actresses that she has worked with provided a lot of interesting material. She's a very animated person, which works with my style!”   You will be able to buy the issue in print, digitally or as an animated interactive comic book. Three unique covers for the comic are available exclusively through Nook (Iordan Terziiski cover), Kindle (Jaume Font cover) or iTunes (Ben Eargle cover).  Bluewater teamed up with Authorly, a digital publishing platform that can turn comics into interactive experiences. David explains Authorly in a bit more detail: “Not only is Authorly one of the first companies to focus on truly interactive storybook applications, but it is also unique in the sense that it gives authors, illustrators, and publishers a Do-It-Yourself tool to create and publish these high quality apps themselves…”   With the help of Authorly the interactive comic book version of Fame: Jennifer Lawrence includes narration, word-by-word highlighted text, audio and video hotspots that allow you to hear sound effects, basic animation and movements, background music, and even more.
