Jennifer Westfeldt Set to Guest Star on Girls

HBO's hit show Girls has gained a new cast member for its third season. Jennifer Westfeldt, the actress and long-time romantic partner of Mad Men actor Jon Hamm, is set to appear on the popular series created by Lena Dunham. The news about Westfeldt's new role leaked when she was seen filming a funeral scene with Adam Driver, who plays Adam on Girls. Westfeldt is known for her roles in films such as Kissing Jessica Stein and Friends with Kids. As of right now, she is only set to guest star in one episode. No details have been released yet regarding the type of role that she will play on the show, but if the guest stars from previous seasons showed audiences anything, it seems that we can expect great things from Westfeldt's appearance

Girls is a popular show set in New York City that centers around the lives of twenty-somethings trying to make it in the big city. Lena Dunham is the creator, director, and star of the show. A premiere date has yet to be set for the third season of Girls, but the direction of the show may be changing a bit due to a recent change in the cast. Christopher Abbot, who plays Charlie, the on again/off again boyfriend to Hannah's (Dunham) best friend Marnie, had a conflict with Dunham and decided to quit the show; he will not be back for the third season.
