Just How Good Does Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Look?

Since it was announced, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition has sat in an awkward position for many fans who played the game that came out just last March due to its $60 price tag. Boasting a face-lift.... literally as well all the DLC and a ton of other changes, Tomb Raider is looking to attract players that have yet to play the game and please fans who have already gone through Lara's excellent origin story. Crystal Dynamics has released a brand new trailer laying out all the major technical upgrades packaged within the game explaining that this isn't the ordinary HD port we are used to.
Along with its impressive new implementation of physics around the world and Lara herself, Crystal Dynamics has literally recrafted Lara's face from the ground up into what we may see from future iterations in the Tomb Raider series. Executive producer of the game, Scot Amos, has expressed their desire to do this as soon as word of next gen consoles came out, "Square didn't approach us saying to do XYZ, at the end of the game the dev team said 'there's all these things that we want to do,' but we'd pushed those machines to the limit at the time." Well now it seems these ideas are all coming to fruition as Tomb Raider: Defintive Edition looks to impress next gen fans on January 28th for both Xbox One and Playstation 4.
