Lance Bass Hosts First All-Gay Dating Show for Logo

Actor and musician Lance Bass is an icon within the LGBT community, so it only makes sense that he’d be part of the first all-gay reality dating show. Bass, best known for being a member of 90’s boy band NYSNC, will host Finding Prince Charming. The show will premiere this fall on the Logo network. Mirroring reality dating shows such as The Bachelor, Finding Prince Charming features 13 suitors competing for the affections of an unnamed “Prince Charming.” One contestant will be eliminated per episode, culminating with the Prince choosing the man with whom he’ll commit exclusively. logo-tv-channel Finding Prince Charming will be the first reality dating show to feature an all-gay cast, a surprising fact given the ubiquity of dating shows in recent years. In fact, the closest thing to a gay dating series was 2003’s Boy Meets Boy, in which a gay man chose from a pool of suitors that, unbeknownst to him, included heterosexual men. “Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture,” said Pamela Post, SVP of original programming for Logo. “'Finding Prince Charming' will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do.”
