Turn off the Lights

Look Ahead for More Neeson Action

You may have seen the varying memes circulating online in recent months about Liam Neeson. Leader of the League of Shadows and Jedi Master, he trained Batman and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Ruler of both Mt. Olympus and Narnia, he was the king and a powerful deity. He has punched out wolves while stranded in the ice cold wilderness and has also twice thwarted terrorist attempts to destroy his family. Now it looks like he'll be out to stop the bad guys again in the upcoming film Non-Stop.

Neeson will play a U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks who begins to receive mysterious text messages demanding that he instruct the government to transfer $150 million into a bank account off-shore. The alternative is one passenger on the flight will be killed every 20 minutes if he does not comply. On a nearly eight hour flight from New York City to London, that's amounts to three people every hour, which adds up to almost twenty four people over the duration of the flight. The stakes seem pretty high going in, but this kind of thing is just a walk in the park for Neeson.

Liam Neeson Non-Stop

The film is the first under a new five-year deal Joel Silver signed with Universal last summer. Silver is the famed producer behind the Lethal Weapon series and The Matrix Trilogy. Directing the film will be Juame Collet-Serra, who previously directed Neeson in the filmĀ Unknown. Others joining the cast are Julianne Moore and Michelle Dockery. It's action at 40,000 feet and Liam Neeson is the captain on what looks to be an exciting ride.
