Marvel’s Black Widow might be getting her own Film

While Marvel has stated that they have up to 2021 planned for their cinematic universe, their lips have been sealed and we've only had reason to speculate as to what character's they'll be adding to the roster. Rumors have flown around that Dr. Strange might be getting his own film, as well as Guardians of the Galaxy could already be tapped for a sequel. The latest in these rumors is that Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson in the Iron Man films, The Avengers and the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, might be receiving her own film.   Black_Widow_02   The news comes from Slash Film, where Kevin Feige mentioned that the character's role would be expanding in The Avengers sequel. While this isn't set in stone, it does make a lot of sense, seeing as how she's been a background character in multiple films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and people probably want more. While we'll have to wait and see, its something worth looking forward to. What are your thoughts on a Black Widow film? Would you want it to be an origin film, or would it be a solid spy thriller, featuring the character in present time? Let us know in the comments below or in out forums!
