Michael B. Jordan Cast in ‘Black Panther’

"Yet another former Human Torch joins the MCU"
Michael B. Jordan Michael B. Jordan will once again team-up with Creed and Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler for Marvel's Black Panther. He previously played the Human Torch in last year's Fantastic Four reboot, making this the second time a former Human Torch actor will play a different character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after Chris Evans became Captain America. It is unknown what character Michael B.Jordan will be playing, although there is speculation that he might be cast as the villain. Jordan joins a cast that includes Chadwick Boseman, reprising the role of T'Challa/Black Panther from Captain America: Civil War, as well as Academy Award-winner Lupita Nyong’o, who is currently in negotiations for an undisclosed role. Andy Serkis, who played Black Panther villain Ulysses Klaw in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Martin Freeman, who played Everett Ross, another supporting character from the Black Panther comics, are both expected to reprise their roles. Ryan Coogler is writing and directing Black Panther, which is scheduled for release on February 16, 2018 and is expected to begin production in early 2017. Black Panther
