Mr. Robot Adds Two Series Regulars

After a successful first season, Mr. Robot has promoted two of its actors to series regulars, according to Variety. Michael Cristofer and Stephanie Corneliussen made their mark during the freshman season of the show and fans will be excited to learn that they will be back when Mr. Robot returns this summer.

Cristofer will return as Philip Price, the CEO of Evil Corp and Corneliussen will reprise her role as the brilliant, yet terrifying, Joanna Wellick. She really stood out in season one as someone who would do whatever it took to get what she wanted. It will be interesting to see what her character will be up to this season.

Mr. Robot has also added two new recurring guest stars, Joey Bada$$ and Chris Conroy. Conroy will be playing a new man in Joanna’s life, which brings up the question of whether or not Tyrell Wellicks will be returning after he mysteriously disappeared at the end of last season.

Joey Bada$$ will be portraying a new close friend of Elliot’s, named Leon. He will be giving Elliot advice and talking him through things like the meaning of life.

It was also announced earlier this year that Grace Gummer has also joined the show as a series regular. She will be playing an FBI agent investigating the Evil Corp hack.

Season 2 of Mr. Robot will premiere this summer on USA.
