NBC to Preview a ‘Revolution’ Teaser During Olympics

NBC has announced that it will air a six-minute preview of the apocalyptic drama Revolution on Saturday, August 4 at approximately 10:54 p.m. EST following the swimming event that should feature U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps.

The network will also broadcast commercial-free premieres of two new comedies: Go On (August 8) and Animal Practice, (August 12) during the Olympics. Immediately following those initial broadcasts, both pilot episodes will be available online, on August 9 and August 13 respectively.

The remaining new NBC fall series will have their pilot available for sampling two weeks before their premiere. Deadline Hollywood reports that those advanced previews will be available on various platforms including on-demand viewing via cable, satellite and telco providers; online viewing via NBC.com, NBC Owned and affiliate station websites, Hulu, iTunes, Amazon and Xbox.
