New Call of Duty named and detailed

Reports that the next Call of Duty game would take place in Vietnam are somewhat confirmed. The official site for Treyarch's latest iteration in Activision's popular FPS franchise has gone live, revealing the game's full title - Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Besides from the game's release date of November 9 this year, the only details on the site thus far come from a single blog post announcing the title, saying "We at Treyarch are excited to reveal our latest development – Call of Duty: Black Ops! Be sure to head over to CallOfDuty.com/blackops as more details begin to unfold! Follow @JD_2020 and @Treyarch on Twitter for the latest news & discussions regarding Black Ops."

Meanwhile, UK retailer GAME hasn't remained as tight-lipped, detailing multiple locations in the game including Cuba, the Artic, and Vietnam.

The GAME website states, "Now you will witness the birth of the Elite Special Forces and take part in off-the-record missions using unconventional weaponry to get the job done. From Cuba to the Arctic and the jungles of Vietnam, Call of Duty: Black Ops features stunning cinematic graphics and intense gameplay that puts you right at the heart of the action!"

With details so sparse it should be worth checking out the official trailer due to air tonight.
