New Splinter Cell: Blacklist Spies vs. Mercs Gameplay Trailer

Ubisoft has released yet another new gameplay trailer for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist today, this time focusing on Spies vs. Mercs from the Spy side. The mode being showcased is the new 4v4 Blacklist mode instead of the classic 2v2, which is also still in this sequel after being missed in Conviction. Of course with more players on the map, the tactics, loadouts, and strategies are changed to accodomate both teams.

If you never played Spies vs. Mercs before, even when it was first introduced in Pandora Tomorrow, it is Splinter Cell's take on multiplayer where the spies have to complete a set of objectives and the mercs have to protect those objectives. Pretty simple stuff right? Blacklist now throws in more players and toys to mess around with to the point the Spies can still be lethal after being spotted. The trailer is available to watch below.

Along with the return of Sam Fisher in another intense campaign, co-op modes, and Spies vs. Mercs, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist is shaping up to be one of the more complete packages to get this year. The game comes out on August 20th for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U as Entertainment Fuse will have a review of this highly anticipated sequel around that time.
