The Original Godzilla will be returning to Theaters this Spring

Both SlashFilm and Hit Fix have reported that Rialto Pictures plan on releasing the original version of Ishiro Honda's classic kaiju film, Godzilla this spring. The film shall debut at the TCM Classic Film Festival on April 12th and then will begin to roll out to other cites. Another major fest that the original Kaiju film shall be shown at is this years SXSW, where director Gareth Edwards (Monstersthe 2014 Godzilla) shall be hosting a Q/A after the screening. Here's a poster for the Rialto rerelease.   Godzilla_Poster   The film will be shown in the original Japanese cut, without the addition of Raymond Burr from the edited American cut. The film will roll out to other cities, right up until the Legendary Pictures remake of Godzilla comes out on May 16th, 2014.
