Paul Bettany to play The Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron

Variety has just announced some major news in regards to Marvel Studios' major 2015 blockbuster, Avengers: Age of Ultron and it regards a certain android from the Marvel Universe. Paul Bettany, whose lent his voice talents to Jarvis in the Iron Man films is set to play The Vision in the upcoming sequel to 2012's The Avengers.

For those uninitiated readers, the character of The Vision is a direct byproduct of the villain Ultron, who creates the android in order to fight against his creator, Hank Pym. While we all know that Hank Pym will not make an appearance until after Avengers: Age of Ultron, when Edgar Wright's Ant-Man is released a few months later, this information solidifies the notion that the creator of Ultron will be Tony Stark. Whether or not he'll retain the aspect of his origin, by being a villain at first, to then become a member of the group has yet to be brought up.

What do you think of The Vision making his first appearance in the Avengers sequel? Is it too soon or is it perfect timing to showcase such a classic character?
