Turn off the Lights

PC Digital Download Sales 11/7/10

On Steam, discounts and new releases permeated the list. Call of Duty and Fallout stay near the top, and discounts on Grand Theft Auto and everything Supreme Commander 2 push down Civilization V. Left 4 Dead 2 is the only standard on this list. With the holiday season in full swing, maybe Civilization V will go off the top 10 sales list soon. Don't expect Divinity II or Medal of Honor to stay on the list for long, though.

Direct2Drive had a very standard week. Deluxe and standard versions of Civilization V and Fallout New Vegas selling, Sims 3 and expansion selling well, and Black Ops staying at the top. LEGO Universe and Dragon Age II are surprises, but they won't stay on for long. Civilization V went down a bit this week on Direct2Drive as well, so it's possible it'll go off the list in December.

Impulse's reigning number 1 seller, Elemental, finally got put down by a sale on MinerWars and Star Ruler this week. Sims 3 and Eschalon got sales too, mixing up the standard Impulse sales list. Sure, Blood Bowl and Sins of a Solar Empire are still there, but the introduction of so much new content to the Impulse top 10 is great. The Sims will probably go off once the sale is over, but MinerWars may be staying for a while.
