Street Fighter X Tekken Announced

In a large white room filled with Street Fighter Cosplayers, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono gave a brief introduction for what was dubbed “The Future of Street Fighter IV” panel at Comic-Con 2010. Joined on stage in Kris Kringle fashion, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada approached the panel handing out copies of Tekken 6 from a large jolly sack. After rehearsed barbs were exchanged, both men were proud to unveil gameplay footage of Street Fighter X Tekken!

Naughty Bear Review

As the titular character, Naughty Bear, it is your job to live up to your namesake. Naughty Bear is about causing chaos and scaring the crap out of as many giant bears as possible. Surprisingly, the game hasn’t caught the attention of the news media with its colorful, childlike storybook demeanor that harbors the mind of a serial killer. Unfortunately for gamers, no one thought to protest the release of Naughty Bear to the masses.

Imagining Dragon Age 2

A little over a year after its predecessor, Dragon Age 2 will hit the shelves, quenching gamers’ thirst for blood and adventure. The fan community is bubbling over with thoughts on what the game may or may not entail, with confirmed details few and far between.

Dragon Age appealed both to the passion for slaying things with swords and the appreciation of a great story. The writers went to great lengths to develop a history for the lands of Thedas, and complex relationships amongst its peoples. Politics, religion, and war weave together to form a rich back story. It remains unclear exactly where and when the new game will be set. It is said to take place in a new part of the world and span a decade.

Game Plus Confusion

Flipping through the titles in the Playstation Store, I couldn’t help notice some downloadable games with the word “FREE” written beneath them. Each of these titles had a tiny gold plus symbol hovering just above their right sides. I realized that these offers were only for Playstation Plus subscribers and found myself oddly drawn to useless content I had never wanted or cared about before. For fifty dollars I could secure a twelve month subscription. As an added incentive for early adopters, an additional three months would be tacked on for taking the plunge from the outset of the service. During a weak moment of greed and acute heat exhaustion, I had become a Playstation Plus member.

3D Dot Game Hero’s Review

I think the title says it all. Upon opening the packaging it arrived in I was greeted with a wonderful, bright and very eye catching box and could not wait to load the game into my console.

Pretty loading screens and a HUGE character editing program accompanied by a sound track that was strangely familiar, a feeling of déjà-vu came over me!
