Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale’s Remaining Roster & Stages Leaked?

While there is an online multiplayer beta going on for Sony and Superbot's Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, a reddit user yesterday leaked a whole bunch of the remaining roster and stages yet to be revealed for the game. It seems like another one bites the dust in terms of leaks in upcoming fighting games. Recently, Capcom has been the victim in their modern fighting games with their rosters being leaked ahead of time, but now Sony and Superbot are the latest to see their unrevealed content get leaked before its release. Of course with all these leaks, treat them with a grain of salt, but with official character pics and images of the stages floating around, these are likely true.

The characters that are leaked yesterday are Ratchet from the Ratchet & Clank franchise, LittleBigPlanet's Sackboy, Spike from the Ape Escape series, Sir Daniel from Playstation 1 classic MediEvil, Heavenly Sword's Nariko, and Evil Cole from Infamous 2. Third party characters Raiden from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance and the new Devil May Cry's Dante also join the rest of the cast. Out of these leaked characters, Ratchet and Sackboy are expected to be in considering their recent popularity on the Playstation 3. Spike and Sir Daniel are nice additions for those that remember the Playstation 1 generation showing Superbot is willing to go outside the box for fighters in the game. Nariko from Heavenly Sword, which came out early on this console generation, is also a great choice and at least she is forgotten in the world of Sony. Evil Cole's inclusion means there are two versions of Cole in Playstation All-Stars, but the powers will be different with the two versions just like how the Infamous games work. The Metal Gear Solid: Revengeance version of Raiden will please fans of that franchise and another way to get people hyped up for that game when it comes out early next year. The new Dante from Capcom and Ninja Theory's Devil May Cry reboot is surely going to get a mixed reaction due to the fact that most fans still hate the new look.

Along with the remains of the character roster getting leaked, the remaining stages that will appear in the game were also revealed early. The games that are used for these leaked stages are Sly Cooper, Twisted Metal, BioShock Infinite (pictured above), Killzone, Infamous, Loco Roco, Uncharted 3, Resistance 2, and Ape Escape. There is no word yet what other franchises will be mixed in with these stages like how Patapons appear in the God of War stage, but the developers have said that elements from Warhawk are going to mix up with the Uncharted 3 level. Sony and Superbot have yet to release an official statement regarding these leaks, but be sure they will say something about them this week. While people are still being randomly picked to play the beta that is out now, the next official character/stage reveals will be at Gamescom and the Tokyo Game Show. Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is currently slated to come out on October 23 only for the Playstation 3.
