Powers: Season 2 Poster Released

"Retro Girls rise?"
Ahead of its premiere at the end of May, another poster has been released for the second season of Powers. In its sophomore season, the Playstation Network original series will center on the “Who Killed Retro Girl?” storyline, an adaptation of the first volume of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming’s comic book series. Though Season 2 appears to be sticking more closely to the source material, showrunner Remi Aubuchon said last year that the identity of Retro Girl’s killer will “be a complete surprise and very different from what it was in the book.” He also mentioned that another of Season 2’s mysteries will be, “who was Retro Girl?” with Oeming adding that the audience is going to discover a lot of secrets in the aftermath of the hero’s death. Interestingly, the actress who played Retro Girl in Season 1, Michelle Forbes, is set to make an appearance this season, though naturally producers remained coy as to how this will happen. Notable additions to Season 2 include Raul Casso as Sgt. Martinez, Tricia Helfer as FBI Special Agent Lange, Michael Madsen as the retired hero SuperShock, and Wil Wheaton as a mystery character.
