PS4 All Access Recap: Naughty Dog, Destiny, Infamous, Metal Gear Solid, & More

Now that the Playstation 4 has officially launched, what is next for Sony's new console? Spike just finished hosting their PS4 All Access event at New York City hosted by Geoff Keighley and a number of Sony folks were also there to celebrate the launch. The big news starts off right away with Naughty Dog's new announcements. From teaser trailers of The Last of Us' Left Behind DLC and the new Uncharted game, the recap is here if you want to see them.

Next up was Sucker Punch with a new trailer for Infamous: Second Son. Accompanied by the same "Heart Shaped Box" remix from E3, this new clip showcases Delsin's new Neon powers along with the other ones revealed already. The release date was also announced for this highly anticipated sequel, which is March 21, 2014.

Bungie was also at the event with a new trailer for Destiny. New levels and gameplay were shown off, but the big announcement out of it was the beta that will available for those that pre-ordered will be first out on PS3 and PS4. If you're looking to play Destiny early, better have a Sony console and pre-order ready. No new release date was announced as the next big shooter from Bungie is still slated for Spring 2014.

The last big announcement from Spike's broadcast was the latest on Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes by Hideo Kojima. Kojima acknowledges how Metal Gear Solid and Playstation grew up together for fifteen years and he likes to do something for Ground Zeroes that will remind people of those original days. He announced the Playstation exclusive mission "Deja Vu" and it stars classic Snake in his PS1 polygonal glory. Honestly, I was little underwhelmed by this as like many fans, wanted something more than that.

That's all the major highlights from Spike's PS4 All Access event. There's still plenty to look forward for the next few months on the Playstation 4, but the Uncharted teaser got me excited for what's next around this time next year. The Playstation bonuses to Destiny and Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes are also neat enough for fans to flock to those versions compared to the other ones. Which of tonight's announcements stand out the most of you regarding the PS4 so far? As always, the comments below are available to let us know.
