PSN and Store releases for 9/13/10

For the week of 9/13/10 there are 5 store releases for the PS3, which are: The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, Cabela’s North American Adventures, Racquet Sport, and Truth or Lies.

There are also 3 new PS3 releases for PSN: Worms 2: Armageddon, My Aquarium and Space Invaders Infinity Gene.

None of these games are particularly big releases, which is a shame as Sony are currently celebrating 15 years of Playstation, so maybe even some free PS1 downloads might have been a nice gesture for all us loyal customers. There are demos for NBA 2K11, and FIFA Soccer 11 which should be worth a look.

The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest — Family orientated and set in the Lord of the Rings universe with accessible gameplay and a colorful rendition of Middle-Earth. Play as Strider and take on quests from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The PlayStation 3 version of The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest supports the Playstation Move Controller.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole — Based on the soon to be released animated film; play as Shard, a young Guardian, setting out on a secret mission to reveal the truth and uncover the sinister plans of the Pure Ones. Travel through and experience the unique history and lands of Ga’Hoole.

Cabela’s North American Adventures —  Custom gun builder that allows players the ability to create thousands of gun options with a variety of receivers, stocks, barrels, and scopes.  Control the camera to get footage. Supports up to 4 players.

Racquet Sport — Includes tennis, ping pong, badminton, squash and beach tennis. Which can be played on worldwide locations including an underwater reef, a Moroccan palace, a New York loft, and a fan-filled stadium.

Truth or Lies — A quiz game with up to eight players, and more than 3,000 questions.

Worms 2: Armageddon —Includes Campaign Mode, Tutorials and Firing Ranges along with multi-player online and offline game modes. Also with full trophy support and customization options.

 My Aquarium — Virtual aquarium with different types of fish in up to 6 individual tanks.

 Space Invaders Infinity Gene — A Space Invaders update. Unlock new stages, new power ups, and new features. Challenge with 99 randomly-created stages and a Music Mode.
