Ratchet and Clank Movie Announced

Insomniac's popular franchise Ratchet and Clank is finally getting a movie in 2015. The developer has expressed enthusiasm with working with Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment, the studios behind the film. Fans will not need to to fear however, because Insomniac is as hands-on on the movie as they would be their own game, being involved with the production, screenplay, character development, and animation consulting. In fact, T.J. Fixman, who was the writer for the recent Ratchet and Clank games, will be helming the screenplay. 

They have also said to celebrate this event, all Ratchet and Clank games on PSN will be on sale the week of April 30. You will find the teaser trailer below:


Ratchet and Clank is the most fit video game franchise for an animated movie, because the essentially are interactive animated films; they contain the perfect amount of drama, humor, and heart to create a great animated film is done justice.
