"Rockstar anticipates Fall 2017 release"
Rockstar Games released a trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 today. It advertises a Fall 2017 release to its smash hit predecessor. The game will be supported on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Red Dead Redemption, an open world third person shooter, hit stores May 2010. After its release, Red Dead Redemption received an expansion featuring a zombie mode, and a Game of the Year Edition came out October 2011. In this setting, players explored the Western United States and Mexico in the year 1911. The open world setting allowed for full appreciation of the game's visuals and player immersion. Other features included a morality system and bullet time shooter mechanics. Red Dead Redemption also featured multiplayer. Speculation for Red Dead Redemption 2 began as early as March 2013. Chief Operating Officer Karl Slatoff of Take-Two Interactive hinted at its development with its importance to the company. Concept art for the sequel was reportedly leaked in April of this year. Images earlier this month released by Rockstar added to fan's suspicions, now confirmed by the trailer.

Throughout high school and college, I have aspired to write for videogames, and in the meantime, put to use my skills in analysis on the reception end of things.

Besides graphics-intensive shooters and AAA titles, I also have a vested interest in RTS and RPGs. Story and how it impacts gameplay are the two biggest measures of a game's worth to me. The rest are details.
