Remember Me Continues to Impress

I'm all for a new IP, especially one that looks as promising as Capcom's Remember Me. While it is true we may be on the end of this console generation, that is not stopping Capcom from putting out a brand new IP.

Taking place in Neo-Paris in the year 2084, Remember Me has you playing as Nilin, an amnesiac memory hunter. After her former employer erases her memory, she must discover why they did this and how to restore them.

A new gameplay video has surfaced today, showcasing much of the game. Within the five minutes, you will see combat and platforming, both of which seem to be staples of just what Remember Me has to offer. Honestly this game has impressed me and the only comparison I can make to it would be that it feels in the same vein as Mirror's Edge, but third person and with a memory twist. Since it does not look like we are getting Mirror's Edge 2 anytime soon, I welcome anything that can even emulate the greatness that game offered.

Remember Me is slated for a late Spring 2013 release for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
