Scream Queens Adds Stars

ryanmurphyfalckukbrennan-copy Ryan Murphy’s future FOX miniseries Scream Queens has added a slew of stars to its cast. Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) and Keke Palmer (Masters of Sex) have all been cast as series regulars along with Glee star Lea Michele. They will be joining Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts who had been previously announced as series regulars. Also joining the show in a recurring role is singer and Nickelodeon star, Ariana Grande. We’re thinking she gets the Drew Barrymore honor of getting killed off in the first episode, right? The series, co-created by Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, conceived as a 15-episode anthology show (akin to Murphy’s FX American Horror Story), will tell the story of a college campus disrupted by a series of murders. Production will begin in the spring for a fall television debut. With a cast like this, it will definitely be worthwhile to give the show a glance. Murphy has a knack for attracting amazing talent but not always delivering on the writing. It is hard to get a real grasp of the series yet but Scream Queens is either going to end up being amazing or deliciously terrible and we’re kind of interested to see which one it’ll be. I think we’ll be watching either way. Are you looking forward to Scream Queens?
