Six Actors Being Considered to Play Spider-man

"Which actor should become Spider-man?"
When Marvel and Sony agreed to reboot the Spider-man franchise with the aim to bring the webslinger into the Marvel Cinematic Universe it delighted many fans. This means a new actor to going to play the famous character. Now The Hollywood Reporter has found out that six actors have screen tested for role in Atlanta, Georgia. British actors Asa Butterfield (Hugo, Ender's Game) and Tom Holland (The Impossible, How I Live Now) have long been rumored to be considered for the role and attended the screen tests. Both are considered to be the frontrunners. The other actors up for the role are newcomer Judah Lewis, set to appear in Jean-Marc Vallée's next movie Demolition, Matthew Lintz (Kill the Messenger), Charlie Plummer (Broadwalk Empire) and Charlie Rowe (Never Let Me Go). Absent from the attendees is the previously considered Natt Wolff (The Fault in Our Stars) and The Maze Runner's Dylan O'Brien. spiderman_split_2 Present at the screen tests were Marvel Studio's president Kevin Feige, Spider-man producer and former head of Sony Pictures Amy Pascal and directors Joe and Anthony Russo, currently in Atlanta filming Captain America: The Civil War. It has been rumored that Spider-man may appear in a cameo for the Captain America sequel. The reboot is currently scheduled for a 28 July 2017 and will be the sixth movie that Spider-man will star in.
