Third Party Servers for Black Ops Wii?

Gamers have become accustomed to the blue and white Wi-Fi logos on the front of Wii and DS game cases before, but enthusiasts will find a unique, more differentiated logo on the front of Call of Duty: Black Ops.  Not only is the logo Black this time around, but it lacks one key word: Nintendo.

Albeit similar, the black logo, shown above, is obviously not the official logo designed and licensed by Nintendo that appears on the front of Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and Metroid Prime Corruption.  What does this mean?  Is it just a temporary logo to sit on the box art until Nintendo Wi-Fi capabilities are confirmed, or are third party servers in the works?

Activision hasn't hosted its own servers for quite a while now, especially on Xbox Live because of Microsoft's intense regulations.  Nintendo is reputable for having lagging and buggy servers that affect multiplayer gameplay of all sorts.  The Conduit and Super Smash Bros: Brawl are prime examples, but will Activision make a change for the better?

Stay tuned for further information.
