The first DLC pack for Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD is out this week on both Playstation Network and Xbox Live. The ‘Revert Pack’ will launch tomorrow on PSN and Wednesday on Xbox Live for $5 and 400 Microsoft Points respectively. A free update is also out this week which adds the ability to use Revert on all the previous levels for the game if you would prefer to continue skating on the old levels and not venture to buy the new pack. But you are going to want to when you hear that the ‘Revert Pack’ doesn’t just contain three new levels but also two new secret characters. Who are they are hear you ask? That would be none other than James Hetfield and Robert Trujillo, the singer/guitarist and bassist from heavy metal kings Metallica. Bet you weren’t expecting that. The pack also contains two skaters from the original games by the names of Steve Caballero and Geoff Rowley.
Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD was released earlier this year for Xbox Live as part of its Summer of Arcade promotion before then making its way over to the PS3 shortly after. The game received mixed reviews but if you were a fan of the original then it was a small price to pay to relive all those memories. Be sure to pick up this DLC this week for another nostalgic trip. Just be sure to turn the volume up every time ‘Superman’ comes on.
