All-Star Cast for HBO Movie by Larry David
By: Narcisse Tchouati | Sep 17, 2012More details have been unveiled on Larry David's HBO movie. First its title, Clear History, and then the fact that the movie has secured a star-studded cast including Bill Hader, Kate Hudson, Phillip Baker Hall, Danny McBride, Eva Mendes, Amy Ryan, John Hamm, and Michael Keaton.
Clear History tells the story of Nathan Flomm (Larry David), a former marketing executive who seeks revenge when his former boss shows up on a fictional version of Martha's Vineyard that he now calls home. Ten year earlier, Flomm left the start-up they co-founded because of a petty argument and sold his 10% of the company now worth millions. After a failed marriage and a ruined reputation, Flomm now lives on the island under an assumed name (Rolly DaVore).
Mad Men's Hamm will play Will Haney, founder of the start-up who comes to the island to renovate his mansion. Hudson will play Rhonda, the glamorous wife of Flomm’s arch-rival Haney. Keaton will play Joe Stumpo, the erratic and eccentric operator of the island’s quarry. Eva Mendes will play a local resident "who takes an off-handed suggestion from Rolly a bit too seriously, causing (him) no end of trouble.
