Some Breaking Bad is Coming to Parks & Rec?
By: Vincent Hammett | Sep 14, 2012 No, unfortunately Andy and Tom aren't going to being cooking meth next season as one of their "brilliant" ideas. However, we do get the next best thing; Jonathan Banks (Mike from Breaking Bad) is doing a guest spot as Ben's father (played by Adam Scott) .
Parks and Recreation co-creator Mike Schur told Sepinwall.com, "We were working the character description of Ben's dad and I said aloud, 'He should act like Mike Ehrmentraut.'" From there, it was decided that they should just try to get Jonathan Banks himself. "To me, at this exactly moment in time, he's everyone I know's favorite actor".
The season premiere is September 20 at 9:30 p.m. on NBC, but his guest appearance is supposed to be "around" the sixth episode... hopefully no main character gets shot.
