Exclusive PS3 Far Cry 3 Co-op DLC Announced

Even though Far Cry 3 just came out today for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, Ubisoft has been hard at work on downloadable content for the game and some exclusively on the Playstation 3. The first PS3 exclusive "expansion" for Far Cry 3 will be released in January 2013 under the name "High Tides".

High Tides will be adding two new co-op chapters. Ubisoft states, "These are the gang's final moments, and we're really challenging ourselves to go all-out." In the expansion, the new missions there are said to be "tougher fights and explosive moments unlike anything you've ever seen before. The two chapters, Jailbreak and Redemption are to take place where the original six co-op missions left off. No price and final date besides next month for the content has yet been announced.
