Namco Bandai's Star Trek Game Gets A Release Date

Namco Bandai has announced the release date of their third person shooter, Star Trek, based off of the 2009 reboot's galaxy.


Developed by Digital Extremes, who've worked on Bioshock 2, Dark Sector and The Darkness 2, Star Trek has been built from the ground up to be a co-op experience. Players will take control of legendary characters Kirk and Spock and play through a completely new story, scripted by God of War writer Marianne Krawczyk. Actors Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto lend both their voices and likeness to the game, adding to the authenticity. Star Trek is slated for release April 23, 2013.
