Star Trek Video Game Release Date Announced
By: Matt Rowles | Feb 11, 2013Star Trek fans sure have a lot to look forward to in the near future. Last year we heard that a new Star Trek video game by Namco Bandai was coming and now we know exactly when. North America will get to experience the new game on April 23 with Europe following on April 26. This is perfect timing to get ready for the new film as Star Trek Into Darkness hits theatres on May 17.
The game is developed by Digital Extremes and is a third person co-op shooter. All of the likenesses of the characters from the new films are included but the story is not based on either of the films. Think of it as a brand new story set in the current universe. The game is coming to Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
