Watch Dogs, the futuristic, sci-fi, open world adventure from Ubisoft, is penned for release in 2013 it was announced today by CEO Yves Guillemot during a financial call.
Guillemot said, “Watch Dogs will be coming next year”.
Best known for their work on Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed, Ubisofts title “Watch Dogs” is a third-person, open-world action shooter in the vein of Blade Runner and Grand Theft Auto with mechanics such as hacking and surveillence being a key part of the storyline. Ubisoft is developing the title for Windows, Xbox 360 and PS3 with no news yet of a Wii-U port. It did looked like at first glance from its debut trailer at E3 earlier this year that is going to be slated for next generation of consoles.
