Turn off the Lights

Weekend Sales Friday March 11th

The weekend has just officially begun, and to celebrate, perhaps you can get some games at ridiculously low prices this weekend. Direct2Drive already has the Spring Break sale, with games getting 20% off if you enter the code "hangover" at checkout. But they also have the entire Sega Genesis Classics collection for 50% off, which makes each series $7.49 (there are 3 series). You can also purchase Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Deluxe Edition for $10 less, and The Witcher 2 is $5 less at the moment.

Direct2Drive is not the only site with good deals this weekend, though, as Good Old Games has 8 games on sale for 40% off, making each game $3.59. The games include Beyond Divinity, Divine Divinity, Feeble Files, Personal Nightmare, Simon the Sorcerer, Simon the Sorcerer 2, and Waxworks.

As you read in yesterday's article, Impulse Driven still has some great sales for the weekend, with Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for only $9.99, Lost Planet 2 for $19.99, and Timeshift for $9.99. The Crazy Racers and Crazy Arena bundle is now 50% off for $14.99, The Chosen: Well of Souls is also 50% off for $9.99, and Academia - The Making of Mages is 20% off for $19.96.

Since this is the month of GamersGate's 5th anniversary, the list of games on sale keeps on growing. There are far too many games to list here (about 150 of them) and the list has great older games like Thief and new titles like Bulletstorm. The list is just going to get bigger over the course of the month, so you should definitely check it out.

Also on Steam, the Total War Collection is on sale for $64.99, while it normally costs $129.95. Individually, Empire: Total War now costs $7.50, a 75% off deal. This only lasts until March 13th, so get moving if it sounds like you want to get it. Mafia II is still on sale for 75% off, and that is our BEST DEAL OF THE DAY
